Not that this is a great record, mind you. It’s pretty inferior trash, truth be told. But how cool is it that somebody created a knock-off of The Wedding of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Girl?
I must admit that The Fantastic Four Annual #3 was one of my favorite comics books at that time, featuring just about every Marvel Comics super-hero as well as Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in attendance at the wedding of Sue and Reed.
Their approach to the super-hero wedding is to throw in explosions every few seconds. I guarantee you won’t enjoy listening to this, but once you’ve heard it your life will be complete. Just click on the bar below…
The Purple Ape on this May 1951 comic book jumped the sales so much that all the DC Comics editors wanted to ape it by putting purple apes on their covers. The publisher was forced to leash the editors in with a monthly purple ape limit!
