Brown Knows

Buster Brown started as a mere comic strip toon in 1902, but he really knew how to sell…Everything from clothes to candy, games, bread, jewelry, and of course, Buster Brown Shoes! Mary Jane Shoes are named after Buster’s Girlfriend! Weird but shoe!

What a coincidence. I recently bought a pair of Mary Janes. They’re not all that comfortable but they just look adorable!

  2. Michael Burton Says:

In olden times, all kids understood the word “dyspepsia”?

  3. Richard Thompson Says:

Why isn’t there a shoe style named for Don Martin? I hope somebody’s working on this.

    Richard: Good idea, Doc!

  6. D. J. David B. Says:

Hold on. There are shoes called Doc Martens. Do you think they were influenced by Don Martin? Come to think of it, they aren’t hinged at the toe so I guess not. Never mind.
