The Yarns of Captain Fibb: Tigwissel Tuesdays #28

Above, for this week’s Tigwissel Tuesdays episode in comic science, we look at The Yarns of Captain Fibb, by artist Charles W. Kahles. Captain Fibb ran in Judge magazine from 1908 to 1910, involving ridiculous stories by the drunken sea captain. In this tale, taken from its reprinting in the April 1910 issue of Judge’s Quarterly, the captain’s little stretching of the truth, reaches cosmic proportions!
