This being the day before our annual national party, what better time to run a few extracts from the circa 1936-1937 booklet, Professor Jim Crack’s Amazing Discoveries! This small advertising booklet was put out by Old American Brand Whiskies, showing the Professor engaged in a series of “scientific experiments” involving his testing the properties of Old American Whiskey… 
I would guess that each strip originally ran in separate magazine ads, but, that’s just my guess.
