Touchdown for Picasso

Once you get past the comic book cover with Jimmy Olsen as an old bearded man and Perry White as a baby you get to the REALLY weird stuff! That would be the "Touchdown for Picasso" public service ad DC ran in this 1962 issue. It will creep you out I’m telling you! It’s also gonna be in the soon to be released Arf Museum. But, there it’s in black and white, because we didn’t want the color to distract from the fine art by Sheldon Moldoff. And we wanted to give the a sparse "documentary feel". BUT MAINLY BECAUSE WE WERE TOO FLUSHLINGER CHEAP TO RUN IT IN COLOR! There IS reproduced in Arf Museum in full color a Jimmy Olsen cover where he becomes the bride of an ape in the "apes and women" section we have. I know Jimmy isn’t a technically woman, but he IS dressed as a bride so that counts! Anyway, click to enlarge and enjoy, already!
