C’mon, Baby, Light My Funnies!

Jim Morrison, legendary leader of The Doors, said in a 1970 interview, “When I read or watch TV or see movies, I hardly ever crack up…like really roll on the floor…but Zap Comix makes it. Crumb is, I think, one of the most…brilliant geniuses to come around in a long time. Ever since I’ve been reading Zap, I see the world as a Zap Comix!”

  1. Chuck Fiala Says:

Cool! Now I have something in common with Jim Morrison! Is there anyboby out there who doesn’t see the world as “Zap Comix?”

  2. D. J. David B. Says:

Hmm. I’ll have to try and feature a Doors record on an upcoming Comics-Tunes Tuesday. Maybe something with a lot of zaps and electric shocks in it.

  3. Michael Burton Says:

I was thinking the same thing — maybe done by the Dynamic Morrisons?

I.T.C.H is looking forward to your thoughts. Please, no flame. Thanks!
