By all accounts a surprisingly fast artist considering the amount of detail he put onto his work, the late Alfredo Alcala-known mainly for his comic book inking in the US- is celebrated with a lovely portfolio over at Grantbridge Street.

Another artist imported into the US in the seventies was Alex Nino, a man whose highly stylized art threw casual readers for a loop in mainstream comics but who shines here in a black and white tale called Teleport 2010 from a 1979 issue of Warren’s magazine, 1984.
