Although he was merely a newborn on this day in 1920, Kurt Schaffenberger went on to a long career in the comics industry, working on the Captain Marvel, Supergirl, and Lois Lane series. Here’s a dirty drawing by Kurt that was censored in its original publication and therefore could not be included in Clean Cartoonists’ Dirty Cartoons.
