There were a number of wonderful, almost identical, kid gang strips in this period. Tom MacNamara’s “Us Boys” (MacNamara later went to Hollywood and used his experience to help develop the Our Gang/Little Rascal comedies), Gene Byrne’s “Reg’lar Fellers” (later ghosted by George Carlson) and Ad Carter’s Just Kids (promoted here-with his own kids, I bet).
