Many Arf Lovers have written to ask how they’ll recognise me at the San Diego Comic-Con. That’s easy, I’ll be wearing a stunning fashion accessory I ordered through the 1950s comic book ad below. As the ad describes it, “by day a lovely swank tie, by night a call to love in glowing words.” The glowing words? “Will You Kiss Me In The Dark Baby?” The ad also assures the purchaser that “girls can’t resist this kiss-me necktie as it glows in the dark. The question emerges gradually to life touched by the wand of darkness. Your girl will gasp with wonder as it takes form.” Are we stiill talking about a tie here?!? Anyway, I can’t resist previewing the incredible fashion statement here today that you’ll soon see me sporting.
