After driving 12 long hours to get home from my visit with my Mom I grabbed some reading material from my nightstand to mellow out before sawing logs in the best cartoon tradition. Being the eve of both taxes due and a back to work day I was tickled to find these cartoons, both from 1924 (I’m a little behind in my reading), with timely subjects and almost identical compositions.
