Here at I.T.C.H. headquarters we’ve received requests for more from the Comic Book Heroes album by The Capes and Masks. They were last heard from back on July 5th, 2011. Also see December 1st, 2009 if you like this stuff. Or this one from July 29, 2025.

To recap, this was a bargain bin LP designed to cash in on the super-hero craze. They took some random songs they had lying around and changed the names to sound like comic book and James Bond tunes. In so doing, they inadvertently created a classic!

This album is long out of print, but would be worth its weight in gold if you could find one in mint condition today.

This song is called “The Man From TANTA,” which is a switcheroo on The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (in case you couldn’t tell).

I’ve now shared four tracks from this record. I’ll keep going until I’ve presented the whole album. At this rate I’ll be finished in just six more years.
