We Pause For This Commercial Message Pt. 1: Snakes Alive!

Today starts a new regular feature on the Arf Lovers Blog: “We Pause For This Commercial Message”. This nuttiness will showcase wacky old comic book ads and ads featuring cartoonists. I originally bought “Manhunt” #13 (1952) for the 5 page Frank Frazetta story within. Now I like it much better for this Snakes Alive! ad in the back. “Be the first in your crowd to wear the new SNAKE BOW-TIE…the beautiful bow-tie with the disappearing snake! SCARE THE GALS! STARTLE THE MEN!”
