COMIC BOOK COMPULSIVE - My Love Queen Size Special #1
As previously established I’ve always been over fascinated with what I like to call “the other Marvels”. By which I mean those titles published during the 70′s when superheroes ween’t selling the way they used to. When Marvel tried every other conceivable genre in a desperate attempt to keep the lights on. The ones that I not only never read but never even saw on my neighborhood comic spinners, that I only knew existed from house ads in other Marvel comics. Comics that I wouldn’t have wanted to read back then when all I cared about was superhero comics.
Like romance comics. You have to give Marvel credit; during this period Marvel got some of their top talent to work on these comics, which is how we came to have stories drawn by John Buscema and inked by John Romita.
