COMIC BOOK COMPULSIVE — Grey Domino #37
Here’s another solid example of a “I didn’t know this existed” comic, The Grey Domino. It was an Australian title published by Atlas Publications in a rectangular “landscape” format popular for reprinting American comic strips without cutting panels to make them fit the page. Created by prolific Australian comic artist Terry Torwell The Grey Domino was secretly Hugh Standish, former commando who was a race car driver by day, secret enemy of crime by night. It was standard issue stuff to be sure, but it was also handsomely drawn and well told.
