How lame.
I mean, your SUPPOSE to have one of the finest comics blogs out there, and no picture of Zeke Zekley? I mean how hard could that be?
So, to help you save face in the Comics World, and to prevent you from walking down the street and being harrassed and heckled for the loser you appear to be, attached is a nice color picture of Zeke (right) and McManus.

Zeke looks like a fairly normal guy, for a cartoonist. But McManus always looks like Jiggs to me. Did he purposely try to resemble his own comic creation? Or did he draw Jiggs to look like himself?
Perhaps this could be the start of a new book: Cartoon Characters Who Look Like Their Creators.

My candidate for character created in the image of his creator is Commissioner Dolan in Will Eisner’s Spirit. I had the good fortune to meet Mr. Eisner once, and I expected him to arrest me at any moment.
