Henry Heath’s 1840 Halloween

From The Caricaturist’s Scrap Book, published in London in 1840 by Charles Tilt….Plates 1 & 2 of Demonology & Witchcraft, by artist Henry Heath.

Demonology & Witchcraft was just one of several 1830′s cartoon scrapbooks (all by Heath), gathered together within The Caricaturist’s Scrap Book. Craig Yoe features some of these Henry Heath drawings, in the Cartoonists Go To Hell section of Craig’s book, Arf Museum.

My Sketchbook Doodles

Just found this old sketch book while doing some Spring cleaning. It was done in 1999 when we took the YOE! Studio staff to London for funsies for a few days. It was an inspiring vacation with lots of good times and i really like the doodles. Believe me there’s other dreadful sketch books of mine that I absolutely hate. So it goes…

Yo! Sketches!

I haven’t posted my doodles in a while. I recently spoke at Disney World on Creativity and Brainstorming. At these conferences I always doodle while listening to the other speakers, I hope they don’t think I’m rude. Actually they probably think I’m taking notes. I doodle whether the talks are good are not. I remember doodling these while listgening to a particularly boring talk.

It’s Howdy Doodle Time!

Sure I love putting together books, designing toys, speaking in interesting places. But my favorite thing of all is doodling in my sketchbooks.

When In Rome

What’s worthy to follow Picasso?–my doodles of course! ;o) When I started the Arf Lovers Blog I always planned on regularly posting my doodles for shits and giggles, but really haven’t got around to it. These are from a little pocket-size sketchbook I filled while visiting my in-laws in Rome at Christmas. Have a Merry and click below for mo’ Yoe.
