D. J. David B. Spins Comics-Tunes: Batman By Request
The I.T.C.H. offices have been virtually flooded with requests for more Batman music! Emails like “I can’t live another day without hearing the Batman theme,” “I’ll pay a year’s salary just for one more version” and other similarly earnest pleas which we made up. The votes are in and the results are clear, you ITCHers want to hear ALL the obscure and mediocre renditions of the timeless theme song from the hit 1966 TV show. Who are we to say no?
So, by special request, here is a really hard-to-find recording of the Batman Theme by the Baltimore & Ohio Marching Band. If that name sounds familiar it’s because just last week they gave us “Little Orphan Annie.” (And it won’t be long before we hear more gems from their album.)
Don’t discount the Baltimore & Ohio Marching Band just because they aren’t a household name. (They haven’t heard of you, either.) The B.O.M.B. cut a pretty jazzy version, complete with flute solo and glockenspiel. After all, what goes better with Batman than some sweet glockenspiel!
Special added bonus: If your name happens to be Chris, here is an autographed photo of Adam West as Batman, especially for you!

Heh heh, Mr. DJ, you crack me up!
This is truly an amazing rendition, sounds like something off Sesame Street. Probably my favourite (or joint favourite, tied with the one by Al Hirt).
I never get enough of this stuff! Brilliant!
