D. J. David B. Spins Comics-Tunes: The Justice League

I love my job. It just fills me with pure joy to be able to present the following song about The Justice League (.of America).

Sure it’s dumb. Sure it’s silly. But it swings! And why shouldn’t it? Is there a more swinging cast of characters than this super-group which includes Plastic Man, Aquaman and the mighty Metamorpho? (Plus a couple of minor super-doers like Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.)

If you’ve ever wondered what Metamorpho’s voice sounds like, here’s your chance. Also listen for Wonder Woman during the roll call. I think she’s played by a guy.

  2. DJ David B. Says:

With Wonder Woman in the nude yesterday and Wonder Woman’s masculine voice today, it’s as if every day is Wacky Wonder Woman Wednesday! I can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring.

Hi Craig…sorry to bust up your blog again, but it’s the only way I can contact you! I tried calling, but I can’t seem to get past your secretary. She either says you’re not in, or I leave her my information and she says you’ll call and then, well…and who knows what your e-mail address is?? Man o’ mystery.

Anyway, I posted a few links for you to check out, down at the wonder woman statue post below…hope you can check ‘em out.

All this is futile anyway if your not looking to hire anyone. Hmmm…hope this gets through!

Have you looked at the CONTACT ME page? There’s an email address there so you can contact Yoe without airing your dirty linen in public. Besides, we’ve got more important things to talk about here, like Wonder Woman and Metamorpho!

I used to have this record, wish I still did.

    The Metamorpho song rocks:
This is the story of the element ma-a-an,
starts out in ol’ Egypt la-a-and.

but listen to that Batman voice: sounds like a punk!

  7. DJ David B. Says:

Funny you should mention it, I have the Metamorpho song lined up for a future Tuesday. It’s another swingin’ tune from this album.

I love the roll call in the Justice League song. Even with just one word, “here!” you can tell a lot about these super heroes. Superman is strong, Aquaman has a cold, Metamorpho is tough, Wonder Woman is a guy, and Batman is a lout.

The things you can learn from old records!

I.T.C.H is looking forward to your thoughts. Please, no flame. Thanks!
