We start today with some aged Canadian cheese over at my place in the form of a rare 1942 Captain Marvel story that was originally published only in the Canadian market and in the US only 30 years later in the fan press.

Here’s a creepy but wonderfully cartoony twisted tale written by under-appreciated writer/artist Bruce Jones and drawn by the great Mike Ploog, a late apprentice to Will Eisner who would go on to successful career in comics, films and children’s books.
