It’s Dollman Monday-Doll Man Gives Good Head, Part 1!
Doll Man stood erect and took on a lot of Big Heads in his day. Here’s a gallery of some of those heady covers. We’re not blowing our wad, either, they’ll be even more Doll Man Gives Good Head next Monday, Arf Lovers, so heads up!
I dig this Doll Man cover where Doll Man gives not only good head but literally good skull…
I’m amused that a mere five issues later Doll man again leans on a cranium in virtually the same pose as the previous cover. This time there’s skin covering the skull, though. And female skin at that! ((Michael Burton disagrees-see the comment section)). Doll Man was usually pictured with a huge male head, sometimes his own as in #62(!) but most often with a Bad Guy’s big head. This is is one of those rare times Doll Man is with a big female head. I assume that means that though Doll Man had a preference for being pictured with Big Male Heads that he swung both ways. Cool!

I enjoyed today’s Doll Man Monday but now I feel dirty.
Hey DJ David B-Hey, I’m an old hippie, but I say “if it feels good do it” and live guilt free!
That female head must be a female impersonator — “The Doll Man Tames the King of Beasts.” Either that, or there’s a lot of gender confusion in the cartoonist’s mind.
On the skull cover, I notice that before Doll Man ripped the flesh from this poor person’s skull, he kicked a few teeth in. Short people can be vicious.
The skull cover also reminds me of an old Dennis the Menace parody in Mad Magazine: Dennis runs into his house, holding up a skull and shouting, “Hey, Mom! Look what I found in Mr. Wilson’s head!”
As a matter of fact, a Dennis the Menace song is coming up on a future Tuesday. Stay tooned!
