Guyin’ Lombardos # 771

As we start 2013, let’s look back fondly on those we lost in 2012…in this case Hostess.

King Features comics characters cavort in this government-produced propaganda pamphlet on eating.

Here’s a New Year’s greeting from The Dark Knight himself.

Finally today, a fond goodbye apparently to the Golden Age Comic Book Stories blog which, after no updates lately, seems now defunct. :(

This is very upsetting news. The Golden Age Comics and Stories blog is now gone altogether. Is the fellow that maintained the site OK? Is there some way to preserve the blog posts? This is a great loss. His posts were fantastic, a great treasure trove of comic, illustration, animation and movie images. I will miss this resource greatly.

I found Golden Age Comics and Stories. Now renamed simply golden Age, a title closer in spirit to its contents.

    Here’s the link http://thegoldenagesite.blogspot.com/

Thank goodness. My favorite site, second only to SUPER ITCH ( and even SI is nearly a tie with Pappy’s Golden Age Comics).

I.T.C.H is looking forward to your thoughts. Please, no flame. Thanks!
