Dancin’ Stars # 757

By the seventies, I didn’t care for it as much but Gil Kane’s Marvel work in the mid-sixties is instant nostalgia nirvana for me.

Also from 1967, Charlton’s one-off Sinestro, Boy Fiend by Grass Green and Henry Scarpelli, a favorite of its time.

Pappy’s got another one of those posts comparing the original art to the printed story, this time starring Shock Gibson.

Another longtime favorite of yours truly, here’s some late Quality Blackhawk.

Thanks for the link to the Biffle and Shooster Kickstarter Project. To begin with, I love supporting independent creators, and, beyond that, I love retro-style art forms. The fact that these guys are associated with the infamous Larry Blamire is just icing on the cake (in addition to his great movies, he’s also got a paperback collection of spooky Westerns that is just fantastic).
Looks like the Kickstarter Project is having an uphill battle, though. I wish we could get them some more action.
