Twistin’ Dials # 686

Here’s the lowdown on that uniquely odd and now apparently obscure eighties mini-series DC allowed Trina Robbins featuring the old, pre-Crisis Wonder Woman.

Here, in Spanish, is a fascinating look at the changes from conception to cover of the now iconic Iron Man # 1 art by Gene Colan.

True Love Comics Tales stupidly rigs it so you can’t link to a direct post (it goes to a Cafe Press link when you try) but they’ve had some cool posts lately including some of Dan DeCarlo’s Jetta, as in Craig’s book!

Finally today, a mid-seventies interview with Jack King Kirby.

“True Love Comics Tales stupidly rigs it so you can’t link to a direct post (it goes to a Cafe Press link when you try) but they’ve had some cool posts lately including some of Dan DeCarlo’s Jetta, as in Craig’s book!”

If you click on either the thumbnail image that appears in most RSS feeds (which will take you to the particular entry)
or just, once you reach the blog, click on the desired title from the archive listing on the left, you’ll find the entry you want.
There’s also a keyword cloud at the bottom of the page that includes titles, artists, publishers, decades, and sub-genres (humor, gothic, etc)
Blogger offers the option of posting an outside link in the entry title field, and, with all due respect, it works beautifully for our related products.
And Craig’s book is well worth seeking out.
If Amazon hadn’t ended my associate deal because my state instituted an internet sales tax, I’d happily list the book!

I.T.C.H is looking forward to your thoughts. Please, no flame. Thanks!
